You will know only too well that for an initiative to succeed, it needs your leaders backing.
We can help in two ways:
Informal support and guidance, sharing what’s worked to help secure the leaders' call at other organisations, including providing draft comms that they can send. (We don’t charge for this.)
If your leaders haven’t engaged themselves yet, we meet you where you’re at and work through what may help you best (whether that’s us delivering a session, or one of our partners, or something else).
For some of the leadership teams of our clients, we’ve delivered a session that connects leaders to their own personal why, to see the greater landscape, the writing and the opportunity on the business wall, their role and stake in the future we choose.
We would typically do this session as a precursor to an All Staff engagement, at a Leadership offsite or as part of the sustainability agenda.
We appeal to their right AND left brains. Hopefully make them laugh. Definitely ask for their specific help in engaging their teams, particularly if it is to soon be followed by an All Staff initiative.
We’d work closely closely with you, weaving in specific context for your sector as well as messages you particularly want to land.
A typical shape would look something like this:
The Context - the science, how we got here, what’s needed now
The Personal Why - what’s at stake for them?
The Business Why - Top line on Regulation, Competition, Risks/Opportunites;
The Ask - What you would like their leadership on to engage your people.
We can deliver it in person or on Teams/Zoom. It varies but is usually around the 30-40 minute mark.
